MyTemp® -- Room-by-Room Temperature Control Zoning System with Forced-Air Heating and Cooling |
|
MyTemp® is a room-by-room temperature control and energy management system for homes with forced-hot air heating and cooling. It solves one of the most perplexing comfort problems homeowners face: maintaining the same temperature in every room or controlling the temperature in different zones of the home for comfort and energy savings. Best of all, it uses the existing ductwork that supplies the hot air; no messy or costly installation headaches. No more cold spots or hot spots; No more uneven temperatures upstairs or downstairs. The components of the system include a 24-valve air manifold master unit, an air pump providing positive and vacuum pressure, one main display unit with wireless smart controllers in every room, outside monitors, plenum sensors, and pneumatic dampers behind every vent connected to pneumatic tubes inside ducts from each damper to the air handler. The patented airflow control devices focus conditioning on the rooms that need it for enabling room-by-room control. Smart Circulation™ circulates air (instead of heating or cooling the air) between only the rooms that need it. Saver™ Mode reduces conditioning in unoccupied rooms. The wireless temperature sensors monitor the energy usage of each zone or room. Flexible zoning allows for adding, removing, or changing zone forced-air designations in seconds, adapting to lifestyle changes. It is simple to use, yet powerful and flexible.
