Ross joined RST Thermal in January 2010. While working toward his master’s and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts University, Ross was the lead engineer on the university’s Solar Decathlon team, which is a biennial competition held by the Department of Energy to build a net zero energy solar powered home. He brings experience working with Viessmann Manufacturing as a solar engineer. While at Viessmann, he had the opportunity to take part in a six month internship at the company’s European research and development facilities. Ross has also worked for other mechanical engineering firms like Keyes North Atlantic as a HVAC design engineer.

Ross has a dual role as HVAC/Solar Engineer/Sales Team member for RST Thermal and principal of his own company, Trethewey Energy Engineering, (TE²) to provide energy efficient solutions, specializing in the design of “green” mechanical systems.
